In Klankenbos (Sound Forest) contemporary artworks produce sounds.

Not only are your ears stimulated, you’d better keep your eyes open as well, for the sound installations are fascinating visual artworks which deserve to be looked at. Thus Klankenbos is a special auditory and artistic open air experience, inviting you along a promenade walk at the Provincial Domain Dommelhof in Neerpelt. With its ten stationary and three mobile sound installations Klankenbos is quite unique in Europe.

Everybody is welcome in Klankenbos and encouraged to explore it independently – for free, any moment of the day. The Catalogue of Klankenbos (which you can download for free) enables you to get even more out of your walk.

In Klankenbos guided tours are possible as well. Musica also organizes various activities, for individuals, families, groups and schools, in and around the forest. For teachers there is a special information handout.
