All Go Rhythm

Without always realising it, we are surrounded by rhythm. More than that, we are made of rhythm ourselves: our breathing, our heartbeat, blinking eyes and swallowing throats. Our body builds its own ‘temple of rhythm’.

‘All Go Rhythm’ takes you on a 5-day sound adventure, led by 2 teachers from Musica and 5 musicians from Casco Phil. The beautiful domain of the Grand Commandery Alden Biesen is our base of operations. As well as music, we will also explore other fields such as movement, sound, film and philosophy. We cannot predict the exact direction this holiday week will take: the programme will be adjusted regularly, based on what you and the other participants find interesting! You don’t need any previous knowledge, just large portions of creativity and a lot of enthusiasm.

Age

Children from 6 to 12 years old, with or without prior musical knowledge.

Those who play an instrument can bring this along.

Participation fee

65 euros per week, lunch and fruit included as a snack.

Children from the City of Bilzen from families with a limited income can participate for free, including lunch. Please contact info@musica.be.

    Children and young people are introduced to musical traditions and their contemporary approaches by a musical ensemble. Making music together is the special sauce that connects creativity, philosophy and diversity. Only healthy food is served during the holiday. In collaboration with social partners we make the activity accessible for all.
