The Digital Environment and Early Childhood Music Education. Impossibilities or opportunities?
Thanks to corona, the next 'big' MERYC Conference will not take place in Vienna until 2022. In the meantime, Musica will host an online event. The mini-conference The Digital Environment and Early Childhood Music Education focuses on the impact of the pandemic on working with the youngest children.
The keynote speakers are Helga Rut Guðmundsdóttir, professor of music education at the University of Iceland, and Beatriz Ilari, professor of music education at the University of Southern California. Practical examples from the Netherlands, UK, Lithuania and Austria, will also be highlighted. Interspersed, will be time for discussion and informal conversation in break-out rooms.
