With the Musica Residencies, we invite creators to experiment, develop and push their boundaries in sound and music. Every year, we offer artists an inspiring space in which new and adventurous ideas can grow, with a focus on the intersections between sound, other art forms, ecology, public space and new technologies.
During the programme, participants receive substantive coaching, technical support and concrete tools to strengthen their artistic practice. They can develop new offerings that can take various forms: a sound installation, concert, music theatre or workshop. This creates a place where creativity, curiosity and playfulness come together, and where creators can show their work during a public presentation or engage in dialogue with other artists.
The Musica Residencies are a place where sound and music can continuously develop, challenge and connect – with creators, audiences and each other.
