Discover and develop your talent for composition with SoundMine 2024, an exclusive intensive course for young adults with a boundless passion for composing and creating. During five intensive days, under the expert guidance of a passionate team consisting of Diederik Glorieux and guest coach Annelies Van Parys (composition), Jorrit Tamminga and Lucas Lebrun (electronics) and Hannes Vanlancker (engraving), you will work towards a presentation of your own composition.
The course offers an international focus, giving you the chance to meet talented professionals from home and abroad and enrich your creative perspective in an international setting. Under top-notch coaching, you will be inspired and guided by leading composers, who will share their expertise to perfect your talent.
This year is dedicated to composing for orchestra (i.c.w. Antwerp Symphony Orchestra), and you will be immersed in the world of mixed and electronic music.
SoundMine 2024 goes beyond a regular composition course by entering into special partnerships, with the chance of a unique performance, bringing your compositions to life and reaching a wider audience.

Selection
This course is aimed at young professionals from Belgium and beyond. Selection is based on your motivation, submitted scores, sound recordings and your potential.
